About Us

Thank you for shopping at Going Coastal Fabrics! My name is Kristin - I am a Mom from a coastal town in Massachusetts. I have been sewing since 2010 when a group of amazing women at my office taught me to quilt. We sewed together during our lunch hour and donated these quilts to charity. I've been sewing ever since!

When my first child was a baby I had a boutique shop called Going Coastal Baby where I made handmade quilts, baby bibs and burp cloths. Going Coastal Fabrics is a spin-off from that first boutique.

Fun Facts About Me:

• I have two young kids and they are big fans of the shop. They especially love to play with my logo stamper!
• I have a degree in Business Administration. I always knew I wanted to have my own business but at the time I thought it would be a candle shop.
• I love to read and play tennis whenever I can.
